Ocotal Beach
Ocotal is an exclusive hillside community of luxury homes and fine hotels located on the northwest coast of Costa Rica. Sky and seascapes are spectacular from every property and have been featured in such magazines as Southern Living and Conde Nast.

Ocotal beach is one-third mile long, with splashes of volcanic rock along the tide line. Coco Beach
This quaint fishing village can be found just three kilometers and a five-dollar taxi ride away from the Villas. Coco Beach is home to an ever-increasing number of foreigners from around the globe, making it very electric and cosmopolitan with a variety of restaurants and fresh seafood landed daily by local fishermen. Browse the shops in centro (downtown), and observe the array of arts and crafts displayed in the street market, featuring native craftsmanship and design. For one-stop shopping, visit Luperone, Coco’s large grocery store that also sells film, personal hygiene and beach products as well as alcoholic beverages.

Fill your pockets with ocean treasures from the beach or watch commercial fishermen unload their week’s catch of shark, tuna, dorado (mahi-mahi), and red snapper. Beach volleyball nets are often raised at low tide, which is also the best time for sunbathing or catching a wave. Strolls along the shores of Coco are a popular pastime for tourists and locals alike. The sun cascades colors across the sparkling waters, creating an enchanting scene in the late afternoons. After sunset cocktails, tranquil Coco bursts into a nighttime fiesta. Barhopping is a great way to take in the various ambiances the village offers, and there are even two discos.
